Our Fiberglass Electric Fence Poles are 60cm long and are perfect for use around a koi pond using Electric Fence clips and Electric Fence Wire. We recommend 2 to 3 strands of fencing wire around the pond - ideally 2", 6" and 12" above the ground level, so 3 clips per post. Posts should be placed 6-8' apart or at bends around the pond - so that there is no space left inside the wire for the heron to land.
The poles can be pushed into the ground around the pond. Or drill holes into solid edging and cut a bit off the post if required.
